Methodology
How Kepivo calculates what you keep.
Checked on 11 July 2026. Kepivo currently uses versioned Etsy market rules and rounds every fee line to the nearest cent or penny.
Core formula
Collected revenue = discounted item revenue + shipping charged Net profit = collected revenue - marketplace fees - seller costs - returns reserve
Net margin is net profit divided by collected revenue. Break-even and target prices are found by testing integer minor-unit prices until the first price that reaches the goal is found.
Current Etsy market presets
| Market | Payment processing | Regulatory | Listing assumption |
|---|---|---|---|
| FR · EUR | 4% + 0.30 EUR | 1.14% | 0.17 EUR |
| US · USD | 3% + 0.25 USD | 0% | 0.20 USD |
| UK · GBP | 4% + 0.20 GBP | 0.48% | 0.15 GBP |
Important limits
Etsy publishes a 0.20 USD listing fee and converts it to the payment-account currency at a variable market rate. France and UK therefore use editable localized examples, not a guaranteed conversion.
The Offsite Ads cap is officially 100 USD per attributed order. Kepivo applies it exactly in USD and does not invent a fixed EUR or GBP equivalent.
VAT on seller fees depends on location and business status, so it defaults to zero and can be entered only as an estimate. Kepivo is not tax, legal, or accounting advice.
